Very delicate, the button mushroom is extremely versatile in the kitchen. It is delicious in all its simplicity, seasoned with just salt, oil and fresh parsley, but it is also very useful for adding flavour to vegetable broth or sautéed or steamed as a side dish and to enrich pasta sauce.
Low in calories (around 20 per 100 grams), the button mushroom is one of the most protein-rich vegetables. Low in fat, it has an excellent mineral content, especially potassium, zinc, selenium and phosphorus. With a good satiety index and easy digestibility, thanks to its qualities, the mushroom strengthens the immune system and regulates the intestine.
