PDO RED RADICCHIO FROM TREVISO 

Characterised by long red leaves and fleshy white ribs, PDO red radicchio from Treviso is suitable for grilling, stewing and baking au gratin. Its bitterish flavour goes well with various types of cheese and smoked meats, such as in rolls with lard, speck or bacon.

Thanks to its high percentage of water, PDO red radicchio from Treviso is purifying and rich in vitamins (group B, C, E, and K) and minerals, especially magnesium and potassium, but also phosphorus, calcium, zinc, sodium, iron, copper and manganese.
With a very low calorie intake (23 calories per 100 g of product), it is useful in low-calorie diets.
