Corn is one of the most widely cultivated cereals in the world and is also known as “maize”. Its kernels, already comfortably shelled, are ready to add flavour to salads, soups and side dishes.

It is rich in fibre, minerals such as magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, calcium, iron and selenium, as well as vitamin A and B vitamins. Thanks to its nutrients, corn has numerous properties: it is an excellent anti-inflammatory and, not least, it is a perfect food for people suffering from coeliac disease because it is gluten-free.
