PORCINO MUSHROOM

The king of mushrooms par excellence and the tastiest in the kitchen, the porcini mushroom has firm, compact flesh, an intense, pleasant aroma and a delicate taste. It is very versatile in the kitchen: the great classics are risottos and tagliatelle, but the porcini mushroom is also perfect as a side dish (may be with potatoes) for succulent meat dishes. It is a delicate ingredient that does not require long cooking times. It can be sautéed, fried or stewed.

Thanks to its good vitamin content, the porcini mushrooms strengthen the immune system and promote a more efficient basic metabolism. They also benefit the circulatory system, significantly lowering levels of LDL cholesterol (the ‘bad’ cholesterol) and preventing heart disease.
